Presentation : The Royal Tenenbaums is an American and dark comedy directed by Wes Anderson realised in 2001! The starring are : Gene Hackman (Royal Tenenbaum), Anjelica Huston(Etheline Tenenbaum), Gwyneth Paltrow (Margot Tenenbaum), Ben Stiller (Chas Taunenbaum), Luke Wilson (Richie Taunenebaum) ect ... The runtime is about 110 minutes.Review : Royal and Etheline have three exceptionally gifted children ; Margot is a playwhright, she wrote his first play when she was 9. Richie was well-know tennisplayer. However he has a nervous breakdown during a match after his sister got married to someone else. Chas is a succeful buisness man, he created his first buisness when he was ten. About 20 years after the Taunenbaum's divorce, Royal wants to remarry with his-ex-wife and reconcile thereself with his children for not being with them in their childhood . For that, he makes believe to her ex-wife and to his children that he has a cancer.
My opinion : I think that the story of the movie is interisting, original and the actor play well. The idea of the chapters is good ! At the beginning I did not understand the story ... but after I understood ! I regret that the movie was too long !
