King's speech. Célie


Tuesday we went to the cinema to see King's speech, a British film directed by TomHooper and released in 2010 which has received many Oscars and reward.

The film was in the original version subtitled in French.

Based on the true story of the father of the current Queen Elizabeth, who was the second son of King George V in the United Kingdom in 1930. The abdication of brother Edward VIII forced him to ascend the throne as George VI, but he lived a severe stuttering problem, Now the King must speak in public. With the help and the insistence of his wife he met large number of pathologists but without much success until the day he meets Lionel Logue, Australian pathologist to unorthodox methods, methods of Logue works and the more they become friends. It will support all the way andthanks to him will assume its full role, and clasped his empire the first bulwark against Nazi Germany.

I enjoyed this movie, see King move, to see him succeed at the end was speaking at a time when Europe entered the Second World War is moving, this film also shows a beautiful story of friendship between Bertie and Logue.
